CRO Company

Production of animal models for targeted research on cancer, infectious diseases, multiple sclerosis, and diabetes.

Toxicology testing (single and multiple doses) and assessing tissue damage and inflammation.

Analyzing drug concentrations in serum, tissues, and metabolite excretion methods.

Determining the optimal drug dosage by analyzing the biochemical and physiological characteristics of groups administered with varying concentrations of the drug.

Preclinical studies

All experiments will be conducted in a standard animal house with controlled temperature and humidity under a 12-hour light-dark cycle. We are currently in the process of obtaining Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) certification. All animals are separately kept in rooms based on the projects. The rooms and all equipment used in the animal house, as well as all the necessities needed by the animals, including cages, bedding, water, and food, are regularly sterilized.

Use of nude mice in immunology and oncology

The lack of a thymus has rendered the nude mouse a good model for the study of T cell differentiation. Analysis of  T cells present in nude mice reveals the characteristics of T cells differentiating along extrathymic pathways

Characteristics

  • The nu allele on chromosome 11 is an autosomal recessive mutation  Dysfunctional rudimentary thymus Litter average: 7 Phenotypically hairless (sparse hair growth possible) T-cell deficient B-cells function normal No generation of cytotoxic effector cells No graft versus host response MORE ...

The DBA inbred strain is the oldest of all inbred strains of mice. Dr. CC Little began inbreeding in 1909 from a mouse colony segregating for coat color. During 1929 and 1930 crosses were made among substrains, and several new substrains were established including DBA/1 and DBA/2 MORE...

The C57BL/6 mouse strain, commonly known as the “Black 6” or the “C57” mouse, is renowned for its ubiquity in genetic research. Biochemically, these mice demonstrate a high susceptibility to diet-induced obesity, type 2 diabetes, and atherosclerosis, making them an ideal model for studying these conditions. Behaviorally, they can exhibit higher levels of anxiety and depressive-like behaviors compared to other strains. Their robust health, ease of breeding, and the availability of genetically modified lines have led to their widespread use in scientific research. MORE...

The Lewis rat is used as the inbred partner for a number of congenic strains at the major histocompatibility complex . The Lewis rat is sensitive to the development of a number of autoimmune diseases, including adjuvant induced arthritis , experimental allergic encephalomyelitis (EAE) , induced autoimmune myocarditis , allergic adrenalitis , allergic orchitis , experimental autoallergic sialadenitis.  MORE...

  • Zebrafish have already been used to help unlock a number of the biological processes behind muscular dystrophy, and are an important model for understanding the mechanisms of development and diseases such as cancer. MORE...

A species that has been widely studied in biology, usually because it is easy to maintain and breed in a laboratory setting and has particular experimental advantages. MORE...

caenorhabditis elegans

With the ease of genetic manipulation, the diversity of the methods for characterizing body fat levels, and the observability of feeding behavior, Caenorhabditis elegans (C. elegans) is considered an excellent model for exploring energy homeostasis and the regulation of the cellular fat storage

This animal is very docile and non-aggressive and hence easy to handle and observe. Widely bred and very economical compared with the expense of larger animals. It comes under the small animal category, hence comes under the purview of local ethical committee. MORE...

Syrian golden hamsters have emerged as an ideal animal model due to their low cost, small size, ease of handling, and ability to accurately reflect disease progression in humans. Despite the increasing use and popularity of hamsters, there remains a lack of available reagents for studying hamster immune responses. MORE...

Guinea pigs have been used in a variety of studies, including anaphylaxis, asthma, delayed hypersensitivity, genetics, gnotobiotics, immunology, infectious disease, nutrition, otology, and pharmacology MORE...

Appointments

To begin a contract, several meetings are held to design the experiment at the company's office located in Pardis Technology Park.

What our Customers say

We owe the discovery of the effective dose of our vaccine to the great efforts of the Zistbalin team.
